Induction Management
The Inductions module manages safety inductions for personnel including general safety, vessel-specific, site-specific, and permit-specific inductions. It tracks completion and validity periods.
Induction Types
- General Safety: Basic safety induction for all personnel
- Vessel: Vessel-specific safety induction
- Site: Site-specific induction
- Permit: Induction required for specific permit types
- Hot Work: Hot work safety induction
- Power Tool: Power tool safety induction
- Work at Height: Work at height safety induction
- Alarm: Emergency alarm response induction
Video Tracking
Inductions can include video content:
- Upload induction videos to the system
- Link videos to induction types
- Track video viewing completion
- Ensure personnel have watched required videos
Induction Validity
Inductions have validity periods (typically 12 months):
- Track when inductions expire
- Send reminders before expiration
- Require re-induction when expired
- Maintain history of induction completions
Completing an Induction
Personnel complete inductions by:
- Accessing the induction module
- Selecting the required induction type
- Watching any required videos
- Completing any assessments or acknowledgments
- Signing off on completion
