Digital Checklists

The Checklists module allows you to create, manage, and execute digital checklists for site inspections, toolbox talks, LMRA, pre-work checks, and other safety and quality verification activities.

Checklist Templates

Create reusable checklist templates:

  • Site Inspections: Regular site safety inspections
  • Toolbox Talks: Safety briefings before work
  • LMRA: Last Minute Risk Assessment
  • Pre-Work Checks: Equipment and area checks before work starts
  • Condition Inspections: Equipment condition checks
  • Custom Checklists: Organization-specific checklists

Creating a Checklist Template

  1. Navigate to Checklists
  2. Click "New Checklist" or use the builder
  3. Enter checklist name and description
  4. Add sections to organize items
  5. Add items within each section:
    • Yes/No questions
    • Text responses
    • Number inputs
    • Photo capture requirements
    • Signature requirements
  6. Set required/optional flags
  7. Publish the template when ready

Executing a Checklist

  1. Select a checklist template
  2. Click "Execute" or "Run"
  3. Complete each item in sequence
  4. Capture photos if required
  5. Add notes or comments as needed
  6. Sign off if required
  7. Submit the completed checklist

    The Checklist Board orients you to recent instances for the active project โ€” where existing checklists live before you start or resume work.

    Start from a template

    Open a checklist template and use Start Checklist to generate a runnable instance in the current project scope.

    Execute checklist items

    The run view presents each section and item โ€” answer yes/no, text, photos, or signatures as required by the template.

    Mark items and add remarks

    Mark items complete and add remarks where needed. Progress updates as required responses are filled in.

    Save or submit

    Save progress mid-run or Submit when all required items are complete.

    The saved instance shows completion status, location, scope, and the filled item responses โ€” the controlled record after submission.
