Your First Steps
A short checklist for your first sessions in the pilot. You do not need to configure the whole platform — focus on signing in, finding your modules, and opening the one workflow your supervisor assigned you.
Purpose
This guide turns orientation into action. Follow the steps in order the first time; afterwards, use the Help Center pilot quick start as your shortcut back to the topics you use daily.
Who this is for
- Field and office users — first login through first PTW, observation, incident, or procurement task
- Supervisors and HSE — confirm you can reach approval and review screens
- Tenant Admins — add the admin steps at the end before rolling out to the wider team
What to do first
- Sign in — use the credentials your admin sent; confirm the organization name looks correct.
- Open the Dashboard — Dashboard to see your landing view and sidebar.
- Check your profile — Control Panel → Profile; update display details if needed.
- Find your pilot module — open the workflow your role owns (see next section).
- Read the matching guide — open the Help article for that workflow and walk through one example with supervision.
- Ask early — if a button is missing or access is denied, tell your admin before workaround processes spread.
How this connects to pilot workflows
Match your role to the right starting point:
- Permit requestor / holder — open PTW; read PTW System
- Anyone on site — open Observations; read Observations
- HSE / supervision — confirm access to Incidents; read Incident Management
- Procurement / commercial — open Purchase Requisitions; read Purchase Requisitions guide
- Master data — open Elements; read Elements
- Tenant Admin — complete User Management, Organization Settings, and Access Control setup before wider rollout
Common navigation paths
- Help Center home → pilot quick start → workflow article → REACTOR module
- REACTOR sidebar → SHARD, JADE, or PARTICLES → day-to-day records
- REACTOR admin → Command Center → users and access (admins only)
- Welcome and Navigation if you need orientation again
What to ask Cerb.works for help with
- Pilot bootstrap is incomplete — no users, wrong org, or modules not visible
- Workflow steps in REACTOR do not match agreed pilot configuration
- You need training or a walkthrough for a specific module after reading the guide
- A defect blocks pilot use (errors, missing screens, broken links from Help)
This is a pilot workspace: not every feature is polished or enabled. Your feedback on what is confusing or missing helps prioritize the next documentation and configuration passes.
